So now that my updated version of EBE21 is online, it’s time to think about continuing the story.
When I finished the book, I had planned a sequel, but it was nothing specific. The idea of writing a sequel became more and more solid in the weeks following the release.
There are still a lot of unsolved questions.
So I sat down at my computer. My software is able to support me in plotting the story. I spent several days trying to design a reasonably reasonable plot structure. But aliens seem to be unpredictable. It didn’t work.
Only when I more or less wrote on it, as with my first part, did it work. I have to do a lot of reworking, but the story is running.
Sure: sometimes I sit in front of the monitor and am thinking about what to write now, but it just works.
Although I have quite a lot to do at the moment and don’t have time to sit at the computer for hours, the yield, if you can call it that, is quite satisfactory.
About 100 standard pages, 23,000 words, 9 chapters.
This will be another long story.
